As a qualified teacher and a parent of two young kids, I seriously respect teachers. Hand on heart, I think they're superheroes in every day clothing, especially after the last 24 months they have endured!
Judging by the emails and private messages I have been getting recently, you all feel the same. Parents everywhere are starting to prepare for the end-of-year teacher present stress shop; what do you get someone who - let's face it - probably gets the same kinds of gifts year in and out, to show them that you seriously appreciate the hard work they put in all year?
So I thought I'd compile a one-stop list of ideas for you this year - think of it as inspiration for teachers gifts perfect for any educator you are wanting to spoil this year!
Gifts for Teachers
I have a special list of earrings that are most frequently bought for teachers which you can access here, but it must be said - who can go past my Caterpillar and Apple set?
All of my earrings are sent in an utterly gorgeous gift box all tied with a ribbon - you won't even need to wrap this gift (and at this time of year, let's face it, the less wrapping, the better!),
Gifts for Male Teachers
Male teachers can be the hardest to buy for - sure, mugs, wine and coffee are great, but what about something extra special that's a bit different?
Alf, the original 'Hairy Man' himself, has created a range of beard oil, hair care and skincare products for men with his range at Hairy Man Care. Everything has been handmade in Perth, Western Australia, so you are supporting a local small business while also gifting something truly unique.
Alf's products smell incredible, and the beard oil in particular is an amazing product. This Mini Beard Oil Pack retails at $35 and is a brilliant idea for a teacher gift this year!
Something a Bit Different
Sometimes you just want to be a bit different when selecting teachers gifts - what about a set of Worry Monsters? Many teachers use these to encourage reluctant talkers to speak up about their worries, fears, or things that are happening away from the classroom. I haven't yet met a teacher who doesn't love my range of Worry Monsters and think they are a brilliant addition to the classroom.
My Worry Monsters are packed in a little cloth bag, and then in my special packing boxes tied up with satin ribbon, so they arrive safe and sound in your hands ready to gift to your favourite teacher.
Teachers are usually a pretty crafty bunch - what about gifting a kit for them to use over their holidays to make their own earrings? My kits provide the maker with everything they need to make some gorgeous earrings, including the clay, glue, earring findings and all equipment, plus the instructions.
I can easily see some teachers relaxing over their holidays making some earrings to wear in the new year, and they'll think of you each time they put them on - perfect!
At $30 a kit, this is a great idea for any teacher who is a bit crafty!

Whatever you end up gifting your teachers, I can say from experience that nothing beats a hand-made card with a hand written message inside. Even though I don't teach anymore, I have kept every single note and card I ever received because of how special they are!
